Klaus Doll Musikinstrumente - Die Werkstatt
Not being very big, the workshop is stuffed
with all sorts of handtools, mainly Japanese ones, Chinese,
and American, always covered in wood dust and the distinctive
smell of wood, glue and laquer.
Most of his days, Klaus spends on repairing musical instruments
(The bread and butter!!), so the amount of instruments he can
produce per year rarely exceeds 8 to 10, sometimes even less,
when somebody wants something really special, thereby consuming
lots of time.
If you want your very personal instrument, first of all, you
have to prepare to meet Klaus for a personal interview about
design, size and material.
